Giant Cup Corals about 10" in diameter! ============ Description Green Eyed Cup Coral - Mycedium species Color: The Green Eyed Cup Coral has a green, tan, brown, cream color. Type of hard coral: Large polyp stony coral (LPS). Diet: Carnivore. Feeding: It likes to eat Filter Feeding Invert Food, Meaty bits like raw shrimp, Silver Side and Mysis Shrimp. Behavior: The Mycedium species is generally semi-aggressive toward other tankmates. Care: Many consider the Mycedium species a low-maintenance specimen. Lighting: Has intermediate lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism. Water flow: The requires low water flow. General notes: The Green Eyed Cup Coral is similar in appearance to the Turbinaria Cup Corals. Require moderate light, are non-aggressive and like feedings of mysis shrimp. Water parameters: Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). Origin: The Green Eyed Cup Coral is commonly collected from Fiji.
