What I Have To Offer:	Scolymia Brain Coral - Scolymia species Description Scolymia Brain Coral (Assorted) - Scolymia speciesAlso known as: Button Scolymia Coral, Green Scolymia Brain, Artichoke Coral, Donut Coral, Saucer Coral Color: The Scolymia Brain Coral (Assorted) has a brown, green, yellow, cream, tan, red color. Type of hard coral: Large polyp stony coral (LPS). Diet: Carnivore. Feeding: It likes to eat filter feeding invert food, Mysis Shrimp, micro-plankton a few times per week, when open. Likes to have very small bits of raw shrimp or silversides.. Behavior: The Scolymia species is generally semi-aggressive toward other tankmates.Care: Many consider the Scolymia species a low-maintenance specimen. Lighting: Has intermediate lighting needs.Symbiotic algae zooxanthellae are hosted within this organism. Water flow: The Button Scolymia Coral, Green Scolymia Brain, Artichoke Coral, Donut Coral, Saucer Coral requires intermediate water flow. General notes: The Scolymia Brain Coral is similar to the Cynarina lacrymalis but has more texture to it`s polyp. Also known as a meat coral. Will expand very far and has sweeper tentacles that it extends at night, so provide space. Hardy. This specimen prefers to be directly on the sand. Water parameters: Keep water quality high (SG 1.023 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). Origin: The Scolymia Brain Coral (Assorted) is commonly collected from Indo-Pacific.
